WHO WE ARE
We are a RIE® inspired Child Development Centre in Starling, Edmonton,
and we are so excited to be building this community!
We had the honour of being trained by Canada’s only current RIE® associate, Anita Cooper
and have completed our RIE® foundations certification.
We're so glad to have you join us on our journey!
We offer a RIE® inspired early child care program with 6 spots (we are currently full).
We offer Respectful Parent & Child Guidance classes a few times a year to share this philosophy and help families build peaceful relationships with their young children.
We also offer Music Time sessions facilitated by music therapist, Karly Goss, Founder of Hope Music Therapy.
We all have the capacity to impact our community. This is how we do our part!
Tesia Ronaldson was born and raised in North Edmonton and became an educator. Tesia's love of children and teaching was amplified when she and her husband, Curtis, had their first child, Brooks. These combined passions, along with Tesia's discovery of the RIE philosophy, led her to build Robins Nest, alongside her sister-in-law Carly.
Carly grew up in St. Albert and was called to work in human services from a young age. Carly's dedication for serving others led her to work with marginalized people across Alberta. Her work in the trauma field and the birth of her and her husband Jay's daughter, Bea, reinforced her passion for early intervention and respectful childcare.
